RiskTech is pleased to announce the appointment of Gerry Robinson to the position of Practice Manager for the Business @ Risk part of our consulting business. Gerry brings a wealth of risk knowledge as an author of a number of books in relation to risk management and decades of experience in the risk consulting industry.
Gerry joins Karen Temm as the Practice Manager of the People @ Risk team and Peter McGee as the Practice Manager of the Assets @ Risk team. Karen and Gerry report to Peter as General Manager Operations for RiskTech.
The Business @ Risk consulting group is poised for significant growth in the 2010/11 financial year. RiskTech has seen a greater appetite for independent risk management advice particularly from a board level, where Directors need to be comfortable that the risks within their organisation have been identified and are being adequately controlled. Gerry and his team can assist with Strategic Business Risk Profiling activities to look at an organisation from a high level. We apply the international standard for Risk Management, ISO 31000, to develop risk management frameworks for an organisation. The Business @ Risk team can also assist with more targeted activities such as the preparation of Business Continuity Plans and Project Risk Assessment activities.
