How did we do it?

High Risk Work License Requirements

From September 2009 the training and assessment for employee’s undertaking high risk work will be managed by a registered training organisation.
The new license will be called a National License to Perform High Risk Work and will be recognised in all states and territories.

To obtain a high risk work license, applicants must be:

  • 18 years of age;
  •  Be enrolled in a recognised training company with an RTO;
  • Complete WorkCover application form;
  • Be assessed by accredited assessors;
  • Provide documentary evidence of competency:
    • Training records; and
    • Logbook.
