ISS has been a client of WCD for 5 years. They have been retained to provide a variety of occupational health and safety, claims and injury management as well as strategic workers' compensation advice to us.
During this period they have assisted the company to transition from previous practices in this area into a more comprehensive and contemporary approach in our overall stewardship of this discipline. This has involved them placing their own staff into a number of state offices, alongside our own people. This particular focus has been to manage and administer the claims and injury management process for our people.
Further, they have actively supported the creation of a range of strategic improvements not only in the discipline of workers' compensation, but also preventative processes of Occupational Health and Safety and assisted us to drive these processes within the new culture and business practices of ISS.
We have seen a number of commercial benefits accrue from this relationship, as we have altered our entire approach to occupational health and safety, as well as the manner in which we manage workers' compensation. This has translated into clear financial benefits in premium terms, as well as bringing about a number of routine operational efficiencies to our variuous business streams.
WCD has been a valuable associate of ISS and we look forward to our continued involvement with them in support of our occupational health and safety and workers' compensation activities.
