Whilst most Employers work closely with the Insurer/Claims Agent who will be managing their claims, this is often not the case with the providers of external services who can have a significant impact on the cost of each claim.

A formal selection process is recommended similar to the process identified in the Insurer Review section above. This is to ensure that each provider complements and co-operates with other providers, so they become a team that will significantly improve individual file management and as a result reduce overall claims costs.
